We take your privacy seriously. Purchasing of books from The Stray Dog Booksellers is processed through a secure payment facility. Your credit card details are protected by this facility and are not transmitted to us.

If, however, you prefer to purchase your books over the telephone, The Stray Dog also has its own in-store Eftpos and credit card facilities. We accept Visa, Mastercard, American Express and Eftpos. If you choose to purchase in this way, please do not detail any credit card information in an email as that is not secure. If you decide on this option, you must phone through your order on 03 59897222 or 0438 66 77 20. Or you can chose to do a direct deposit to our bank account.

If we are unavailable we will return your call within 24 hours. We will process the order and then destroy the credit card information. Only your contact details will be retained so that we can advise when the order has been processed and dispatched.

Your contact details are safe with us and will never be provided to other parties. If you wish to have your contact details removed from our customer database just email us to that effect.
