1896. First Edition, 3rd imp, published in the same year as the first impression. Very Good. Original maroon/tan binding is tight & strong. Frontis of Henry Lawson is clean but tissue-guard is foxed. Title page shows publication date & image of a swaggie & his dog with slight crease. Very clean internally with only foxing being the endpapers. Slightly bumped at corners. Spine at little faded. Contains 50 of Lawson's verses. There is a Xmas inscription dated 1897. A very nice well-preserved copy. 234 pp + 16 pp of pub adverts.
