1917. Very Good to Near fine 2 volume set with no previous owner inscriptions. Blue boards beautifully decorated with gold gilt titles to front boards and spine, gold gilt motifs to both volumes with gilt tooling to edges. Bindings tight and strong, contents clean. Volume 1, 546 pp; Vol 2, 610 pp; 195 illustrations plus 2 engraved frontispieces both protected by tissue-guards. Lacking front endpaper, touch of spotting/tanning to endpapers /frontis / edges, little wear at corners but really a very nice set.
