The map is clean and very good with a little foxing on the back which is not present on the actual map. There are two small tears at the bottom of the map which do not compromise the map. The map is firmly pasted to the back cover. William Bradford was the Fields and Mines Reporter for the Ballarat Courier. Printed by F.W. Niven & Co. Softcover. Many B&W Illustrations/photos. No owner inscriptions. Internally the book is clean and tight with minimal foxing and would be described as very good. The front and back covers have creases, nicks and chipping but the hinges are quite sound and the book is tight. The covers would be described as good/fair. Please see photos. There is a touch of scattered foxing to front and rear endpapers. There is also a tear at bottom edge of front endpaper. A fascinating account of Ballarat's Gold Mines in the late 1880's. 80 pp.
