To quote his Commanding Officer he was " wounded in battle...lost from official sight.....hurried to hospital...without authority ran out of hospital... ..wounded in heroic action... lost from official sight again....officialdom could not keep track of this buster"!  Dark green binding with gilt titles to spine and embossed decorative imprint to front board.
